There is a place for everyone in the life of the church. Our ministries – Evangelism, Prayer Meetings, and Youth – are three of the ways we serve God together and reach into our community in South East London. Explore each below.

Our Ministries

Growing in faith. Serving one another. Reaching our world.

At Greater Grace Christian Church, ministry is about people.

We want everyone – regardless of age, background, or stage of faith – to have opportunities to know Jesus, grow through God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and use their gifts to serve others.

As an international family church, our ministries help people connect, receive encouragement and make a difference within the church, across South East London and throughout the wider world.

Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry encourages men to grow in their relationship with God and become faithful examples within their homes, workplaces, church and community.

Through fellowship, prayer, biblical teaching and shared activities, men can form genuine friendships, discuss life’s challenges and encourage one another to live with courage, wisdom and integrity.

Whether you are new to church or have followed Jesus for many years, you are warmly invited to get involved.

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry provides a welcoming and supportive environment in which women can grow spiritually, develop meaningful friendships and encourage one another through every season of life.

Through prayer, fellowship, practical teaching, and special activities, women are equipped to understand their identity in Christ and use their gifts to bless their families, church, and community.

There is a place for every woman at Greater Grace.

Children’s Ministry

We love and value the children in our church.

During our Sunday gathering, children worship alongside their families before joining a creative and engaging Bible class designed especially for them.

Through age-appropriate teaching, activities, stories, and discussion, children are helped to discover who God is, understand the Bible, and build a strong foundation of faith in Jesus Christ.

We are committed to providing a caring and encouraging environment in which every child feels welcomed and included.

Youth Ministry

Young people need a safe place where they can ask honest questions, explore their faith and talk about the issues they face.

Our young people meet on Sundays with youth leaders who encourage them through biblical teaching, open discussion and prayer. They are invited to contribute, ask difficult questions and discover how faith in Jesus connects with everyday life.

We also arrange occasional outings, social activities and opportunities for young people to build friendships and enjoy time together.

Parents, young people and anyone interested in supporting our Youth Ministry are welcome to contact us.

Prayer Ministry

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” — James 5:16

Prayer is central to the life of Greater Grace.

Our regular Saturday prayer meeting gives us time to seek God together, pray for one another, and bring the needs of our church, community, and world before Him.

Everyone is welcome—whether you are confident praying aloud or would simply like to join quietly.

If you cannot attend but would like someone to pray with you, please send us your prayer request.

Saturday Prayer Meeting: 10:00 am

Evangelism and Community Outreach

We believe the good news of Jesus Christ is meant to be shared.

Our evangelism team meets in Lower Sydenham to speak with members of the community, distribute gospel literature, and offer encouragement and prayer.

You do not need to be an experienced speaker to take part. If you love Jesus and would like to help others discover the hope found in Him, we would be delighted to have you join us.

Saturday Evangelism: 12:00 pm

Missions

Our commitment to the gospel reaches beyond South East London.

Greater Grace is connected with Greater Grace World Outreach and supports Christian ministry, church planting and education internationally, including work in Ghana and Cyprus.

We encourage members to pray for missions, support mission work, and consider opportunities to visit and serve where God may lead them.

Visit our Missions page to learn more about the ministries we support and how you can become involved.

Fellowship and Church Life

Church is more than a Sunday service—we are a family.

Throughout the year, we create opportunities to share meals, celebrate together, build friendships and enjoy fellowship across different cultures and generations.

Our bring-and-share gatherings are especially meaningful, with members preparing food from around the world and enjoying time together.

These moments help relationships grow and remind us that no one has to walk through life alone.

Discover Your Place

You do not need to have everything figured out before becoming involved.

Whether you would like to pray, welcome visitors, support children and young people, share the gospel, help practically, or simply begin by attending, there is a place for you at Greater Grace.

Speak to one of our ministry leaders or contact us to find out how you can participate.

Let’s Grow and Serve Together

God has given every believer gifts that can strengthen the church and bless others. We would love to help you discover where you can grow, contribute, and make a difference.
