A story of grace, faith and family
Greater Grace Christian Church is an international family church in South East London.
We are a community of people from different nations, cultures, backgrounds and generations, brought together by our faith in Jesus Christ. Although every person’s journey is different, we are united by God’s grace and a shared desire to grow in faith, serve one another and make a difference in our community and across the world.
Where our story began
Our story began in 2005, when Pastor Tony Morley felt called by God to establish a Bible-centred church in Catford.
Those first gatherings quickly grew into a community of people hungry to know God, understand His Word and share the message of Jesus with others.
Those early gatherings were marked by prayer, worship, faithful Bible teaching and a genuine love for people—values that remain at the heart of Greater Grace today.
Growing together through every season
Over the years, God has guided Greater Grace through many seasons of growth and change.
From meeting in Catford to establishing our church family across South East London, each chapter has been shaped by God’s faithfulness and the dedication of people willing to serve.
Our story is not simply about buildings, programmes or events. It is about lives changed by the gospel, friendships formed, families supported, prayers answered and people discovering a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Built on the Word and prayer
From the beginning, Greater Grace has been committed to the faithful teaching of the Bible.
We believe that Scripture is God’s authoritative guide for Christian faith, life and ministry. Through preaching, worship, prayer, fellowship and discipleship, we seek to help people understand God’s Word and apply it to everyday life.
We want everyone who joins us – whether for one Sunday or for many years—to encounter the grace of God and find encouragement for their journey of faith.
An international family church
One of the greatest joys of our story is the diverse family God has brought together.
Greater Grace is home to people from different countries, cultures, generations and walks of life. This diversity reflects the worldwide family of God and reminds us that, in Christ, we belong to one another.
We seek to be a church where everyone is welcomed, valued and encouraged to discover and use their God-given gifts.
Making a difference beyond our walls
Our story extends far beyond our Sunday gatherings.
Greater Grace is affiliated with Greater Grace World Outreach, a global family of churches committed to sharing the gospel and making disciples.
We have supported Christian ministry and education in Ghana, helped church-planting and Bible-college work in Cyprus, and encouraged members of our congregation to experience mission first-hand.
We believe that God calls His church to look beyond itself – serving locally, supporting mission globally and sharing the hope of Jesus wherever opportunities arise.
Our story today
Today, Greater Grace is led by Senior Pastor Tony Morley, supported by Assistant Pastor René B. Lutshaka T., our ministry leaders and many faithful volunteers.
Together, we continue to build a church centred on Jesus Christ – where people can worship, pray, learn from Scripture, develop meaningful relationships and find opportunities to serve.
We are grateful for everyone who has been part of our journey, including those who prayed, served, gave, taught, encouraged and helped the church through every season.
Looking to the future
We thank God for everything He has done, but we believe there are still many chapters ahead.
Our vision is to continue growing as a healthy, Christ-centred and Spirit-led church that equips believers, strengthens families, reaches new people and makes a lasting difference in South East London and beyond.
As we move forward, our prayer is simple: that Jesus will remain at the centre, that His Word will continue to guide us and that His grace will be made known through everything we do.
